Randolph Rich

Randolph M. Rich, 58, of Marshall died Monday, January 8, 2007 in the emergency room at Union Hospital of Terre Haute, Ind.  Burial in Marshall Cemetery.

Mr. Rich was born December 21, 1948 in Peoria, the son of Max Rich and June Atkison Rich. He married Jo Ellen Donehue in August 1969 in Olney. She survives.

He was a member of Marshall Lions Club, Clark County Bar Association and American Bar Association. He was a 1967 graduate of East Richland High School in Olney, a 1969 graduate of Olney Central College and received his Bachelor of Science degree from University of Arizona in 1971. He graduated from Valparaiso School of Law with honors in 1974. After graduation from law school, he was employed as an attorney with Chicago Title & Trust of Chicago. In 1974 he moved to Marshall and practiced law with Miller & Meehling Attorney of Law and later opened his own practice in Marshall.

He loved boating and cars and was an avid reader.

Mr. Rich is survived by his wife; daughter, Sarah Lycan; son, Douglas Rich; sister Amy Weber of Big Rapids Mich; mother-in-law, JoAnn Donehue and several in-laws.

He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Lloyd Donehue.
