Eugene "Gene" Fisk Jr., 59, of Olney, died Thursday December 20, 2007 at St. John's Memorial Hospital in Springfield. A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Olney with Rev. Bill Wiggs officiating.

Mr. Fisk was born March 20, 1948, the son of John Eugene and Margaret Alice (Nichols) Fisk. He married Helen Jane Gaddy on July 5, 1974 in Olney. She survives.

He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Olney.

Mr. Fisk is survived by his wife, Helen Fisk of Olney; nieces, Margaret Tennyson and her husband, Dennis of Olney; Mary Lou Harrell of Olney; and Carol Ledeker and her husband, Lee of Racine, Wisc.; nephew, John Cantrell of Indianapolis, Ind.; brothers-in-law, Thomas Gaddy and Daniel Gaddy and his wife, Camilla both of Olney; sister-in-law, Jacquelyn Gaddy of Godfrey; five great-nephews; two great-great-nieces; five great-great-nephews and four nephews by marriage.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Johnny; infant brother, James Richard; sister, Mary Joann Cantrell and brother-in-law, Glen D. Gaddy.
