Kathryn Borah

Kathryn Elizabeth Borah, 60, of Olney, died Saturday, March 13, 2010, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.  Cremation rites were accorded.

Ms. Borah was born July 14, 1949, in Olney, the daughter of Daniel Vernor and Betty (Glover) Borah.

She was a homemaker. She was a true lover of all animals and simply loved nature with all its splendor. Taking a hike through the woods with a good friend was a perfect day for her. She also enjoyed reading and knitting in her spare time. She dedicated her life to spirituality. She believed that all people are connected as one through the light and love of Creator. She walked her spiritual path with faith, love and compassion for all. Most importantly, she was a spiritual mentor and teacher to an array of people throughout her journey. She will be remembered for her devout faith in Creator's plan and the promises of eternal life for all. When you spent time with Kathy, you left with an incredible sense of peace. Her great nieces and nephews called her "Happy."

Mrs. Borah is survived by her brother, Jim Borah, of Springfield; brother, Chris Borah, of St. Clair, Mo.; sister, Julie Bunn, of Olney; sister, Sally Gardner, of Olney; and several nieces and nephews.
