Susan B. "Sue" Summers, 60, of Robinson died Saturday May 23, 2009 at Clarion Center, Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Ind.

Mrs. Summers was born on April 23, 1949 in Olney, the daughter of Kenneth Berger and Barbara Wharf Berger.

She was a graduate of East Richland High School in Olney and Lockyear Business College. She worked as an Administrative Assistant at South Eastern Illinois Counseling Center in Robinson for several years. One of her great joys was helping to organize and attend her high school class reunions. Because of her outgoing personality and her sense of humor, she was loved by her many friends and family.

Mrs. Summers is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Monte and Cindy Summers of Oak Park; her daughter and son-in-law, Anne and Shawn Batcheller of League City, Texas; her parents, Kenneth and Barbara Berger of Olney; three brothers and sister's-in-law, David and Christine Berger of Westerville, Ohio, Chris and Cyndee Berger of Springfield, Il. and John and Barbara Berger of Nashville, Tenn.; her best friend, John Curry of Lawrenceville and several nieces and nephews.
