John Arthur Spieth, 53, of St. Charles, Mo., and formerly of Olney, died at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, November 25, 2010, at his home.  Services held at First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ in Olney.  A private service held Dec. 14 in Dallas, Texas.

Mr. Spieth was born August 5, 1957, in Olney, the son of James and Nancy (Zetsche) Spieth.

He was an electronic specialist for Toch USA and affiliated with First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ.

Mr. Spieth is survived by his parents, James and Nancy Spieth, of Dallas, Texas; brother, Michael Spieth and his wife, Mary Lou; brother, Thomas Spieth and his wife, Terry; nephews, Bradley, Jeffrey and Tyler; and great-nephews, Emery and Lynden.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Reverend Earl and Verba Zetsche, Fred and Erna Spieth, and Angie Thompson.
