Dollie Ashworth (Watson)

Dollie Sue Ashworth Watson, 48, of Flagler Beach, Fla., originally of Flora, died Friday December 29, 2006, following a long battle with heart disease.

Burial in Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Watson was born March 9, 1958. She graduated from East Richland High School. She married Steve Watson in 1987. He survives. They have two remarkable children.

She relocated to Florida and put herself through nursing school at Daytona Beach Community College. She worked as a critical-and intensive-care nurse at Ormond Memorial Hospital. She also previously worked as a licensed real-estate agent for Berleen Reality in Flagler Beach.

Mrs. Watson enjoyed spending time with her family, her many friends, gardening, traveling with her family to fish and surf in the Bahamas, Hawaii and the Florida Keys, visiting her family in Illinois.

She was a member of Flagler Beach United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Watson is survived by her husband, Steve of Flagler Beach, Fla.; daughter, Haley; son, Hunter, both of Flagler Beach, Fla.; parents, William and Dollie (Jones) Ashworth of Olney; brother, Steve Ashworth and wife, Mary of Olney; grandmother, Blanch Ashworth of Olney; mother-in-law, Katherine Watson; niece and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two grandfathers and one grandmother.

Sue, it brings tears to my eyes to see your picture. I think of you this way still; young, beautiful, full of life, full of ideas and energy. Always ready for a new adventure. We had so much fun together. Thinking of you now and always.....
