Rick Judge, 65, of Parkersburg, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023 in Parkersburg. Rick was born on November 15, 1957 in Richland County, Illinois, the son of Richard O. Judge, Sr. and Violet (Knakmuhs) Judge.

He was an excellent electrician who enjoyed working alongside his father. He worked on countless grain bins, farms, and residential electrical jobs. Rick enjoyed bird hunting and fishing, especially when it was with his family. In his younger years he raced motocross. Rick used his talents to help his friends and family when they needed it. He took pride in his children and grandchildren and had a lot of love in his heart for them. Rick's sense of humor and orneriness will be missed by those that knew him well.

Rick is survived by his children, Lincoln T. Judge; Lindsey (Cooper) Sutherland of Shiloh, IL; Chip (Taylor West) Judge of Olney; and Levi Judge of Olney; parents, Richard Sr. and Violet Judge of Parkersburg; grandchildren, Brianna, Ayli, Kali, Arya, Kye, Presley, and grandson, Maddox, due in May; sisters, Brenda (Ron) Hall of Parkersburg and Harriet Ann Judge of Olney; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Eleanor Rae Judge; maternal grandparents, Raymond and Mary Knakmuhs, and paternal grandparents, Lincoln and Sylvia Judge.

A funeral service for Rick will be held at 5:00 PM on Friday, April 21, 2023 at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney with a visitation beginning one-hour prior to service time. Interment will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery in Parkersburg at a later date.
