Rozella Diel, 56, of Olney, went to be with her Lord at 9:03 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at her residence in Olney.  Services at the Stasi-Grove Funeral Home in Olney. Funeral services with Reverend Paul Goss officiating. Burial in Island Creek Cemetery in Jasper County.

Rozella was born September 25, 1954, in Greensburg, Ind., the daughter of Noris Cecil Jones and Louisa (Bakes) Kimmel. She married David Diel, who preceded her in death.

She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Olney. She was a member of Eagles Lodge. She was employed by Illinois Department of Rehabilitation and CTF HSBBC.

Rozella is survived by her mother, Louisa Kimmel, of Olney; brothers, Michael Kimmel, of Olney, and Eddie Kimmel, and his wife, Lorainne, of Vandalia; sister, Toni Jones, of Olney; nephew, Elijah Kimmel, of Olney; and sister-in-law, Debbie Diel Lewis-Steven, of Jasper County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Diel; father, Noris Cecil Jones; stepfather, Otis Kimmel; half-sisters, Kathi Coker and Susie Kimmel; brother, David; and brother-in-law, David Jones.
