Cassandra "Cassie" Travous, 48, of Olney died Saturday March 5, 2005 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

Mrs. Travous was born on July 21, 1956 in Olney, the daughter of John "Jack" and Ethel (Weisenberger) Hanratty.

She worked as a ward secretary at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney and as a secretary at Weber Medical Clinic. She was a member of  First Assembly of God Church in Olney. Her hobbies were art and needlepoint.

Mrs. Travous is survived by her mother, Ethel Hanratty of Olney; a son, Matthew J. Travous of Olney; two brothers, C.L. Wilson and wife, Betty of Claremont and Jerry Hanratty and wife, Margaret of Detroit, Ala.; a sister, Gwen Jones and husband, Dave of Olney; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father.
