Neal Elliott Class of 1974Neal Glen Elliott, 60, of Dundas, died Thursday at home after a year-long battle with cancer. 

He was born February 24, 1956 in Olney, IL to Robert and Lenore Elliott. 

He is survived by his daughter, Denise (Brian) Horn of Olney, sisters Janet (David) Fonder of Green Bay, WI and Julie (Steve) Tabb of Camby, IN, special friend, Kathy Balthus of Vincennes, IN, aunt and uncle, Linda and C. David Green of Leesburg, FL. He leaves behind three grandchildren – Roreigh Mitchel, Bayley Horn, and Maycee Horn.  He also leaves nieces, Tanya Leaf of Appleton, WI, Shana (Jason) Cunningham of Avon, IN, and Stephanie (Jason) Ginder of Olney, and nephews Joseph (Wendy) Skelly, Derek (Rachel) Fonder, and Ryan (Lisa) Fonder all of Green Bay, WI.

Neal was a member of the 1974 graduating class of East Richland High School.  Neal was a professional freight relocation specialist having held positions with companies including Jack Gray Transport, Hancock Carriers, MCS, and Hribar Logistics over his 40-year career.

Neal drove 2 and 4-cycle go-carts and motocross motorcycles to satisfy his passion for racing.  He enjoyed ATV trips with his 3 grandchildren and loved grilling and cooking for family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Bob and Lenore Elliott; maternal grandparents, Glenn and Alva Grove of Dundas; and fraternal grandparents, Glenn and Edna Elliott of Sarasota, FL.

Visitation Tues. April 5 from 6-8 p.m.  Service will be held at Thrasher’s on Wednesday, April 6 at 2 pm, followed by burial at the Dundas Cemetery.
