Jack Oral Wagner, 44, of Olney died Saturday September 27, 1997 at Richland Memorial Hospital.  Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Rev. Father Jerry Wirth officiating. The body is being cremated.

Wagner was born April 3, 1953 in Richland County, the son of Charles O. and Inez P. (Tucker) Wagner. He married Rena Wells January 4, 1974.

He was a service tech with GTE.

He is survived by his wife; step-mother, Kay Wagner of Olney; in-laws, Harry and Alice Wells of Olney; one son, John Wagner at home; two daughters, Vanessa Wente and her husband, Matthew of Teutopolis and Jessica Wagner at home; one brother, Ted Wagner of Henderson, Nev.; one half-brother, William Smith of Michigan; one sister, Becky Bell of Olney and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his paents and a brother.
