Rodney Dean Toliver, age 22, of 533 W. Chestnut St., Olney passed away Saturday February 12, 1977 at the Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Private funeral services held at Summers Funeral Home with the Rev. L.P. Duesing officiating. Burial in Haven Hill Memorial Gardens.

Rodney was born in Olney September 21, 1954, the son of Verle and Mona Morris Toliver. He was married to Janet Elie on December 22, 1973. He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. Before his illness, Rodney was employed at the Olney plant of the Ainsbrooke-Flagg Garment Co.

Surviving are his wife, Janet; a son, Eric Wayne at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Verle Toliver of Olney;  a brother, Scott E. Toliver of Bloomington; and a sister, Debra Jo of Olney. Other survivors are grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Toliver of Passport, Mrs. Marie Morris of Olney; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Elie of Olney.
