Mary E. Morris, 80, of Olney died Friday, April 9, 2004 at Burgin Manor in Olney.  Funeral services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Minister Larry Weber officiating.  Burial in Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery in rural Claremont.

Mrs. Morris was born on February 2, 1924 in Richland County, the daughter of Harry and Hester (Underwood) Wheeler.  She married Richard "Red" Morris on May 5, 1945.  He died on April 9, 2002.

She was a retired bookkeeper and worked at the Janet Shop, Bower's and Montgomery Ward.  she was a member of Elm Street Christian Church in Olney.

Mrs. Morris is survived by two sisters, Virginia Grove of Olney and Lois Cammon and her husband, Lee of Olney; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother, Robert Wheeler.
