Wanda Egleston, 48, lifelong resident of Richland County, of 412 West Chestnut, passed away late last night, May 16, 1973 at the Richland Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Egleston was born December 5, 1924 the daughter of Charles and Verna Fleming Slichenmyer.  She was united in marriage with James D. Egleston May 22, 1943 in Salina, Kansas.  He survives her.

Mrs. Egleston attended Ebenezer Church.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, James D. Jr. of Fairfield; three daughters, Mrs. Don (Patricia) Kapper of Olney, Mrs. William (Diana) Toliver of Olney and Sherri at home; two brothers, Stanley and Joe Slichenmyer both of Olney; one sister, Mrs. Chester (Mary Ellen) Semple of West Liberty; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services held in the chapel of the Zirkle Funeral Home with Pastor L.B. Howard officiating.  Interment in Haven Hill Cemetery.
