Selma Joan “Jobie” (Schneiter) Watson, age 97 of Russellville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Creekwood Nursing and Rehab in Russellville, Kentucky. She was born in Olney, Illinois on December 21, 1924 to the late Paul A. Schneiter and Olive McFetridge Schneiter.

She was a loving mother and homemaker and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She graduated from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri and was a Lifetime member of the Alumnae Association. She enjoyed anything outdoors and loved playing tennis even in her golden years. She was an avid sports fan and dedicated Braves fan. She also enjoyed traveling and was blessed to be able to do so.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hummer Orndorff Watson and son, Chris Watson.

She is survived by her Son, Brad Watson and wife, Pattie, Franklin, TN; Daughter, Lindy Kemmis and husband, Rob, Adairville, KY; 4 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.

The Funeral Mass held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial in Adairville’s Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation at Summers and Son Funeral Home, Russellville, KY
