Beulah Fern "Mimi" Hance, 84, of East Peoria died at 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011, at Rose-wood Care Center in East Peoria.

Born on June 5, 1926, in Olney to David I. and Effie M. Thomas Scherer, she married Paul Hance on Dec. 20, 1947, in Olney. He preceded her in death on May 12, 1985.

She was also preceded in death by a half brother, Kenneth Romack.

Surviving are three daughters, Brenda (Charles) Penney of Benicia, Calif., Cynthia (Andy) Anderson and Gail (Michael) Ball, both of Cape Coral, Fla.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services held at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. The Rev. Jim Gorby officiated. Burial at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton.
