Marjorie E. Saxe, 89, of Olney, died Sunday, June 15, 2014, at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh, Ind.  Memorial services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Pastor Steve Wingert officiating. Cremation rites accorded. Interment of cremains will be in Haven Hill Memorial Garden at a later date.

Marjorie was born December 6, 1924, in Olney, the daughter of Fred and Mamie (Byrne) Glathart. She married Duane Saxe on July 2, 1945. He preceded her in death on October 11, 1996.

She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.

Marjorie is survived by a daughter, Beverly Norton, of Olney; son, Thomas Saxe, of Mt. Carmel; daughter, Nancy Kuykendall and husband Mike, of Olney; grandchildren, Lori Stacey and husband Mike, Ryne Saxe, Bree Saxe, Kilee Saxe, Jake Kuykendall, and Jordyn Laughlin and husband Ian; great-grandchild, Archer Laughlin; stepgreat-granddaughter, Camille Gartung; sisters, Dorothy Glathart, and Betty Gaskins and husband Cobern; and several nieces and nephews.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and an infant sister.
