Robert D. Freeland

Robert D. Freeland, 62, of 48 Willow Drive, Olney died today, January 16, 1987 in his home.  Services in Summers Funeral Home with Rev. David A. McNabb presiding. Graveside military rites conducted by the Olney veterans organizations.

Mr. Freeland was born August 2, 1924 in Olney, the son of Doit and Martha (Kaser) Freeland. He married Enid Gray June 25, 1953 in Olney.

He was a retired international banker.

He was a member of the Richland County Country Club, B.P.O.E.926, Petroleum Club, and was a 50-year member of the First Presbyterian Church. He was also a World War II veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Enid; four sons, Robert Freeland Jr., Miami, Fla.; William Freeland and Charles Freeland, both of New Orleans, La.; James Freeland, Huntsville, Texas; a sister, Rose Ann Leo, Denton, Texas; and an aunt, Marie King, Olney.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
