Marion E. Brinkley, 88, of Olney, died Thursday, April 28, 2011, at Burgin Manor in Olney.  Burial in Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery in rural Claremont.

Mr. Brinkley was born May 5, 1922, in Dickens, Iowa, the son of George S. and Neva H. (Worthey) Brinkley. He married Bernadene E. Anderson on June 19, 1949. She survives.

He was a retired farmer and had worked at AMF/Roadmaster in the production department. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Mr. Brinkley is survived by his wife, Bernadene Brinkley, of Olney; son, David Brinkley and his wife, Connie, of Olney; son, Kenny Brinkley, of Flora; daughter, Donna May, of Olney; grandchildren, Kevin Brinkley, Katie Clodfelter, Jamison Eagle, Jessie Brinkley, Alison Brinkley and Jason May; and two stepgreat-grandchildren, Sasha and Temperance Eagle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George S. and Neva H. Brinkley; one brother, William H. Brinkley, one sister, Roberta Brinkley Hampson Hull; daughter, Judy Brinkley; daughter-in-law, Cindy Brinkley; and son-in-law, William May.
