Joyce M. (Blank) Dawson, 81 of Olney, died Thursday July 6, 2006 at Richland Care & Rehab in Olney.  Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Olney.

Mrs. Dawson was born on November 20, 1924 in Decatur, the daughter of S.H. "Joker" and Mary (Michl) Blank. She married Harley L. Dawson on April 14, 1951. He preceded her in death on November 20, 1996.

She was a retired bookkeeper and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney.

Mrs. Dawson is survived by her son, Richard Dawson of Victoria, Texas; three daughters, Donna Goff and her husband, David of Olney, Debra Gibson and her husband, John of Canton, Miss. and Dove Spray of Fishers, Ind.; three sisters, Jean Lee of Olney, Deeann Russell of Mt. Vernon and Jackie Perillo of Tucson, Ariz.; two brothers, Don Blank of Olney and Jarl Blank of Fairfax, Va.; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
