Jamie Wagner (Cartwright)

Mrs. Jamie Lynn Cartwright, age 55 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2010, at the University Hospital in Columbia, Mo.

Jamie was born on September 10, 1955, in Lawrenceville, Ill., the daughter of Margaret Wagner and James Wells. She was married on July 11, 1992, in Lyon, Mo., to Lonnie Cartwright.

She graduated from Olney High School and Olney Community College both in Olney, Ill. A resident of the central Missouri area for the past five years, Jamie had worked as a secretary for several businesses in St. Louis and Illinois until ill health forced her retirement. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church and the Auxiliary of the Disabled American Veterans, Oliver Buehrle Post 17.

Survivors include: her husband, Lonnie Cartwright; one daughter, Kimberly Cartwright of Jefferson City, Mo.; one son, Brian McVaigh of Chattanooga, Ill.; her mother, Margaret Wagner of Sumner, Ill.; one brother, Randy Wagner of Indianapolis, Ind.; and two grandchildren, Luke and Brock McVaigh.

She was preceded in death by her father.

A memorial service will be conducted at Memorial Baptist Church with the Reverend Mark Towns officiating. Graveside services and interment will be held at Longview Cemetery.
