John L. Rister, 59, of Olney, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2014 at his home.

John was born July 29, 1955 in Olney, the son of Leonard and Virginia (Schrieder) Rister. He had worked as an oil promoter.

He is survived by a sister, Jane Rister Schmidt.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation rites accorded. Services will be held at a later date.
