.jpg) Fred E. Piper, 62, of Olney, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017, in Olney. He was born on February 5, 1955 in Olney, IL, the son of Raymond Orus and Elsie Margaret (Seiler) Piper.
Fred is survived by his brother, Charles Piper of Fairfield, IL; sister-in-law, Carol Piper of Springfield, IL; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, William and Gary Piper.
A memorial service will be held December 8, 2017 in the Hope Chapel at Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.

To Fred Piper, my name is Joe Marlowe and cousin to the Piper boys. My mother Ethel (Seiler) Marlowe was a sister of Margaret Piper. My family always lived in Olney or Dundas before we left to move to Phoenix, AZ in 1950, I was much closer with Gary and Billy more my age. Fred was a late bloomer child so I didn't get to know him very well before moving away. I hope Gary might read this and contact me at joes315@msn.com. May you rest in peace Fred.
