Vicki Rose Black, 49, of Olney, died Wednesday November 14, 2001 at her residence.

Memorial services at Elm Street Christian Church in Olney with Minister Les Boldt and Minister Larry Weber officiating. Private interment of ashes at a later date.

Mrs. Black was born on June 5, 1952 in Olney, the daughter of Gene and Pat R. (Elkins) Rose.

She was Director of Rehabilitation at Davis Community Hospital in Washington, Ind. and a member of Christian Church of Olney.

Mrs. Black is survived by her father, Gene Rose and his wife, Joan of McAllen, Texas; her mother, Pat Rose of Olney; two sisters, Kathy Black and her husband, Michael of Olney and Paula Cardinal and her husband, Daniel of Olney; and nieces and nephews, Jennifer Andrew and Chelsy Cardinal and Christopher, Tyler and Justine Black.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marty Black.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southeastern Illinois.
