Marshall Craig Minor, 45 of Olney, died at 9:55 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, 1998 at his residence.  Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Rev. Coy R. Cleghorn officiating. Burial will be in Crest Haven Cemetery in Claremont.

Memorials can be made to Hospice of Southeastern Illinois.

Minor was born Nov. 23, 1952, in Salem the son of F.M. and Ruby (Jordan) Minor.

He was a self-employed carpenter and oil field worker.

He is survived by a very special spouse, Diane O'Dell of Olney; three daughters Darla, Kendra, and Finese Minor, all of Prairie Grove, Ark.; two sisters, Debbie of Cloverport, Ky.and Jimi Walker and husband, Daniel of Cloverport, Ky.; parents of Olney; and two nieces, Bethany and Chloe Minor.

He was preceded in death by a daughter and maternal and paternal grandparents.
