Maynard Kocher

Maynard F. Kocher, 48, of Olney died Tuesday May 8, 2001 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.

Funeral services at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stringtown with Reverend Father Jerry Wirth officiating. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Stringtown.

Mr. Kocher was born on May 13, 1952 in Richland County, the son of Walter and Anna C. (Zuber) Kocher. He married Mary Wingert on March 3, 1973  in Stringtown. She survives.

He operated Kocher Lawn Service and was a bus driver for East Richland School District. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney and a member of the Petroleum Club and Elks Lodge of Olney.

Mr. Kocher is survived by his wife, Mary Kocher of Olney; a son, Matthew Kocher and his fiancee, Tracy Garner of Olney; a daughter, Jill Cucinella and her husband, Gaspare of Newton; his father, Walter Kocher and his wife, Dolores of Olney; three brothers, Gilbert Kocher and his wife, Laura of Olney, Duane Kocher and his wife, Jane of Olney and Mark Kocher and his wife, Sandy of Olney; three sisters, Kathleen Whitt and her husband, Ralph of Farina, Marie Kuhl and her husband, Charles of Wendelin and Martha Jean Klingler and her husband, Ken of Noble; a step-brother, David Rusk of Lawrenceville and one grandson.

He was preceded in death by his mother, one brother, Allen Ray Kocher and two step-brothers, Ronnie and Wayne Rusk.
