Dave Stegall, 56, of Chillicothe, Illinois,  formerly of Olney  passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

He was born February 3, 1955 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio a son of William Clayton and Mary Lou Maddox Stegall Jr. He married Debra Allard on October 14, 2000 in Olney. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Austin Stegall of Iowa City, IA and Andrew Stegall of Chillicothe; his mother of Olney; one brother, Patrick (Rhonda) Stegall of Mt. Juliet, TN; one sister, Marietta (Billy) Duncan of Collierville, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father.

Dave was employed by Caterpillar, Inc. for over 30 years, retiring in 2009.  He was of Christian faith.  He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman who enjoyed the company of his many family and friends.
