Danny G. Brady, 61, of Eagle Lake, Fla., formerly of East Peoria, Ill., died at 10:35 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at his residence in Florida, surrounded by family and friends.

He was born on Oct. 3, 1946, in Olney, Ill., to James Robert and Betty Scott Brady. He married Shirley C. Pribble Osborne on Dec. 25, 1989, in Las Vegas, Nev. She survives.

Also surviving are four stepchildren, Thomas (Kari Johnson) Osborne Jr. of East Peoria, Ill., Jason (Maria) Osborne of Bartow, Fla., Chris (Alecia) Osborne Sr. of Germantown Hills, Ill., and Melissa Osborne of Bloomington, Ill.; one brother, Robert (Frankie) Brady of Glen Carbon, Ill.; and one sister, Karen Nevius of Henderson, Nev.; six grandchildren; two nephews; four nieces; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Danny was a U.S. Air Force Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He received a bachelors degree from Eastern Illinois University.  He worked as an accountant for Flamingo Enterprises based in Springfield, Ill.  He attended Highlands Church of Christ in Lakeland, Fla.

Services at Deiters Funeral Home in East Peoria, Ill. Pastor Robert Barnard will officiate. Burial in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria, where military rites will be accorded by the Tazewell Military Rites Team.
