Patricia "Trisha" H. Marvel, 63, of Olney, died Tuesday, January 13, 2009, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.  Cremation rites were accorded.

Mrs. Marvel was born on April 14, 1945, in Olney, the daughter of Howard and Patricia (Parker) Reed. She married Bert A. Marvel on April 28, 1961. He survives.

She was a homemaker, and a devoted wife and mother. She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary and Eagles Auxiliary.

Mrs. Marvel is survived by her husband, Bert A. Marvel, of Olney; daughter, Alisa Zwilling and her husband, Steve, of Olney; son, Bradley Marvel and his wife Tammy, of Clay City; son, Brett Marvel and his girlfriend, Patty King, of Olney; son, Brandon Marvel and his girlfriend, Billie Pierson, of Sumner; five granddaughters, Crystal Zwilling and Tiffany Zwilling, of Olney, Cortney Marvel Foust and her husband, Chris, of Olney, Ashley Marvel Miller and her husband, Dusty, of Nashville, Tenn., and Tamsen Pierson, of Sumner; grandsons, Wesley Marvel and Andrew Marvel of Glasford; great-grandson, Daniel Lee, of Sumner; brother, David Reed and his wife, Susie, of Olney; brother, Rick Reed and his wife, Debbie, of Olney; sister-in-law, Patsy Reed, of Olney; eight nieces and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents; granddaughter, Anastasha Brown; an infant niece, Heather Reed; and two infant nephews, Jeremy Reed and Jason Reed.
