Terry "Dennis" Maddox, 26, formerly of Olney, passed away Friday, Sept. 29, 1972 from injuries sustained in a tractor accident on his farm near Mokane, Mo.

Dennis was born December 15, 1945, the son of Joy and Katherine Payne Maddox.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Olney and was an athlete at East Richland High School while the family lived here. He won varsity letters in football and baseball.

His father was a supervisor at the shoe factory in Olney. The family moved to Mokane, Mo. following Terry's junior year at ERHS.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon; two sons, Terry Michael, 5 and Tony Darren, 3; his parents, Joy and Katherine Payne Maddox of Mokane, Mo., Rt. 1; two brothers, Larry G. and Tommy, both of Fulton, Mo.; three sisters, Mrs. Patty Hutsell of Fulton, Mo., Mrs. Joyce Krebs of Jefferson City, Mo. and Miss Barbara Maddox at home.
