Patsy Totten (Utz)

Patsy Utz, 78, of Olney, went to be with her Lord and Savior March 22, 2011, at her home.

Mrs. Utz was born August 31, 1932, in Olney, the daughter of Paul L. and Juanita (Miller) Totten. She married Fred Utz on November 24, 1953, in Olney. He survives.

She was an avid gardener, and the best wife, grandmother and great-grandmother in the world. She was a graduate of SIUE with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She was a nurse consultant for the University of Illinois Division of Crippled Children.

Mrs. Utz is survived by her husband, Fred Utz, of Olney; daughter, Mitzi Daniel, of Olney; daughter, Tammy Miller, of Vincennes, Ind.; son, Tony Utz, of Olney; special friends, Betty Foss, of Vincennes, Ind., and Don Burgener, of Olney; granddaughter, Amanda Monical, of Clay City; granddaughter, Andrea Utz, of St. Ignatius, Mont.; great-granddaughter, Makayla Monical, of Clay City; brother, Denny Totten and his wife, Patti, of Olney; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul L. and Juanita Totten, and brother, Dick Totten.

Pat was friend of mine . I had many long talkes with her over the years so I believe I knew her very well .

Pat loved her family more than I can say . She would do absolutely anything for them . I hope they all remember that !
