Veralou Katherine Goble, 49, Lawrenceville, died yesterday (July 1980) of natural causes at 10 a.m. in the Lawrence County Hospital.  Services in the Emmons Funeral Home, Lawrenceville with the Rev. Don Witlow presiding. Burial in the Crest Haven Cemetery.

Mrs. Goble was born in Packwood, Iowa on Feb. 26, 1931 to Wilbert and Cecile Spillman.  She married Sherman Goble on June 25, 1950.  He survives.

Other survivors include a son, Paul Steven, living at home; two daughters, Shirley Groark, Calif. and Susan K. Goble, Portage, Ind.; two brothers, James Spillman, Olney and Thomas Spillman, Chesterton, Ind.; her parents, Wilbert Spillman and Cecile Cline both of Billett; and two grandchidlren.

She was a member of the New Life Center Church and the Women's Temperance League both of Vincennes, Ind.
