Charles Richard Sanders passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at the Missouri Veterans Home in St. James, Missouri. He was 77 years, 2 months, and 18 days of age. Charles was born on December 1, 1930 son of Charles Richard Sr. and Mary Ellen (Crook) Sanders.

Charles worked for the McDonald Douglas as a material handler and was a Korean Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife of the home: Leona Mae (Sapp) Sanders; one daughter: Julie Cantyne and husband Joseph of Hazelwood, Missouri and two grandchildren: Christina Horton and Jina Cantyne; along with a host of family and friends. Charles will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
