Janet (Palmer) Henry, 89, of Olney, formerly of Claremont, Illinois, died on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.

Janet was born on October 25, 1932 in Olney, Illinois, the daughter of Harry and Agnes (Tucker) Palmer. She married Gordon Henry, and he preceded her in death on April 21, 2022.

Janet loved to teach and was a great mom to five children.

Janet Henry is survived by her son, Keith Lamb of Olney; stepchildren, Deborah Henry; Paul Henry, and Allan Henry.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Judy Ferguson, Norma Robins and Mary Wingert.

Cremation Rites were accorded. Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney is assisting the family with arrangements.
