Mrs. JoAnn Lindsey, 82, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away unexpectedly on June 15, 2014 with her family by her side. She was born on November 8, 1931 in Olney, Illinois  to Russell and Mary McLerran.

Funeral services at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel with Bro. Olan McDaniel officiating. Interment in Forest Park West Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughters, Marilue Levendikis and Cindy Lindsey.

Left to cherish her memory are son, Dwight Lindsey and wife Nancy; daughters; Rhydonia Shaw and husband Archie, Diane Garcia and husband Ronnie, Dorothy Long and husband Randy; step-children, Gail Taylor, Michael Lindsey, Jerry Lindsey, and Debbie Jones; grandchildren, Sheila, Sherry, Lonnie, Sonya, Heather, Robbie, Jennifer, Troy, Ronnie Harrell, Rhydonia, Felicia, John Michael, Santina, Matt, Jessica, Rose Mary and Brooke; 31 great grandchildren.
