William Richard Judd, 83 of Wilmington, North Carolina, died peacefully at home on December 11, 2015. Funeral services at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home in Wilmington.  Burial at Prospect Cemetery in Ogden, North Carolina.

Richard was born January 17, 1932 in Illinois son of Ernest and Sylvia Owen Judd.

He was preceded in death by brothers Kenneth and Raymond Judd.

Richard is survived by his wife Delores Judd, sons Stanley Register and wife Jeanne, Kelly Judd and wife Christine, sister Wanda Morehart, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

He loved woodworking, especially building guitars. Richard loved music, gardening, fishing, and was a great mechanic.
