Major Richard Earl Hohl, Ret., 70, of Huntsville, Alabama died Friday, September 20, 2002. He was born March 7, 1932 in Georgia son of Lowell E. and Christine F. (Runyon) Hohl.

Major Hohl was a retired U.S. Army Vietnam veteran.

Survivors include daughters, Christine Waldrup, Linda McCormick; grandchildren, Tiffany Waldrup, Thomas Keith, Christopher Keith, Sarah Waldrup, Madison Keith; other children, Jeb Hohl, Donna Hohl-Krop, Kurt Hohl, and Victoria Mariani; two sisters, Joan Musgrove and Carol Wright.

Visitation at Valhalla Funeral Home. Burial in Valhalla Memory Gardens, Huntsville,  with military honors. Chaplain Maj. Soon Cheol Jung officiating.
