Betty June Brown, 77, Evansville, Indiana passed away at 7:45 pm, Monday, April 12, 2010 at Westpark Rehabilitation Center.

Betty was born June 26, 1932 in Menard County, Illinois, the daughter of Lawrence and Ella (Monts) Hartleroad. Betty June and her husband Robert were founders of Young Life of Evansville and longtime volunteer leaders. She also served in the youth ministry and was a Sunday school teacher at Oak Hill Bible Fellowship. Betty June’s entire life was dedicated to her family.

She is survived by: daughter, Karen Taylor and her husband Aaron of Evansville; son, Greg Brown and his wife Jennifer of Evansville; sisters, Jean McKinney and her husband Stanley, Vera Hurn and her husband Bud, Faye Lincoln and her husband Bill; brothers, Harold Hartleroad and his wife Debbie and Bob Hartleroad and his wife Nancy; grandchildren: Jeremy, Wesley and Melissa Taylor, Julia and Matt Francis, Ashley and Nick Byble, Whitney and Meredith Brown; great-granddaughter, Ashlyn Francis, all of Evansville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 2002, parents, Lawrence and Ella Hartleroad, brother, Dale Hartleroad and granddaughter, Lindsey Brown.
