Harold G. "Bake" Baker, 72, of Olney died Monday December 13, 2004 at his residence.  Cremation rites were accorded. Services at First Presbyterian Church in Olney with Reverend Denise Burke officiating. Private interment of ashes at Liberty Lawn Cemetery in Olney.

Mr. Baker was born on March 18, 1932 in Dundas, the son of Raymond and Lena(Harrolle) Baker. He married Linda Schonert on April 16, 1954 and she survives.

He retired as a foreman at Roadmaster in Olney and also farming. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Audubon Society.

Mr. Baker is survived by his wife, Linda Baker of Olney; two sons, Gary Baker and his wife, Sylvia of McCamey, Texas and Steve Baker and his wife, Donna of Alpharetta, Ga.; a daughter, Deb Burnett and her friend, Mike Shipman of Olney; five grandchildren; a nephew and cousins, Jerry Diel, Joann Diel and Judy Stratton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
