Rosemary J. Eichhorst, 71, of Olney, died December 30, 2003, at Brookstone Estates in Olney.  Funeral services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in rural Claremont.

Mrs. Eichhorst was born on May 5, 1932, in Richland County, the daughter of Leo and Hazel (Chaplin) Arnold. She married Jewell Emmitt Eichhorst on March 30, 1950, in Mt. Vernon.

He preceded her in death on October 17, 1995. She retired as a receptionist at Weber Medical Clinic. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Olney.

Mrs. Eichhorst is survived by a son Steve Eichhorst and his wife, Darrelynn, of Olney; a daughter, Julia Eichhorst, of Greenbelt, Maryland; a son, Brad Eichhorst of Manchester Maryland; a daughter, Michelle Deimel and her husband John, of Olney and six grandchildren, Scott and Seth Eichhorst, Derek Deimel, Jacob and Lydia Eichhorst and Danny Deimel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, Bruce, and a grandson, Stephen Anthony Eichhorst.
