William Clyde Engledow

William ‘Bill’ Engledow, 73, of Olney, died at 9:00 AM, Tuesday, September 30th, 2014 at Helia Arch Healthcare and Rehab in Olney.  Graveside service at Maple Dale Cemetery in Olney. Reverend Bill Herald will be officiating.

Bill was born on March 21st, 1941 the son of Edward Vern and Audrey (Stacy) Engledow.

He worked for the State of Illinois License Department in Springfield for many years. He was a baseball pitcher when he was younger and a huge St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Bill is survived by his brother Gary Engledow of Jacksonville, Florida; sister Rhonda Taylor, and husband Denzel of Olney; several nieces and nephews; and residents and staff of Helia Arch Healthcare and Rehab.

He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Audrey Engledow.

SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT BILL,WHEN'T TO SCHOOL WITH HIM,WE BOTH PITCHED BALL,HE WAS A GOOD BASKET BALL PLAYER,WE WERE FRIENDS,AFTER HIS ACCIDENT BILL-H AD A FEW PROBLEMS,AFTER YEARS NOT SEEING HIM I RAN ACROSS HIM IN SPRINGFIELD.LAST TIME I SAW HIM WAS THE 50TH CLASS REUNION,I STOOD BEHIND HIM IN THE PICTURE FOR CLASS GET TOGETHER.VERY SORRY 4 HIS LOSS,GOD LOVE AND SPEED BE WITH HIM,ROD.
