Norma Umfleet, 82, of Oblong, formerly of Olney, died on March 27, 2018 at Ridgeview Care Center in Oblong.  Funeral services at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home, Olney with burial at Eureka Cemetery.

Norma was born on December 8, 1935 in Richland Co., IL, the daughter of Charlie and Marie (Shake) Crites. She married Jackie Umfleet on June 17, 1952 in Olney. He preceded her in death on June 3, 2012.

Norma loved to spend time with family and friends. She was a member of the Eureka Church of Christ.

Norma is survived by her son, Galen Umfleet and wife Lori of Oblong, IL; daughter, Sheri Foltz and husband Jeff of Patoka, IL; grandchildren, Jenna (fiancee Jay Kelsheimer) Umfleet, Sarah Foltz, and Jakob Foltz step-granchildren, Samantha Byrley and husband Shawn, Lyndsay Lack and husband Thurion, and Paul (fiancee Christin Warren) Williams; several great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Jan Crites, Connie Crites, Linda Stadge, Judy Umfleet, and Phyliss Umfleet; brother-in-law Gene Umfleet, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers Kenny Crites and Richard Crites.
