Kenneth George Skelton, 62, of Arcola, formerly of Olney, died Wednesday, October 17, 2001 at his residence in Arcola.  The body was cremated, with interment at a later date.

Mr. Skelton was born July 30, 1939 in Olney, the son of Jesse and Bertha (Nichols) Skelton.

He was a machinist at Little Fuge in Arcola.

Mr. Skelton is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Rodriguez of Odessa, Texas and Kenna Lynn of Florida; two brothers, Donald Skelton and his wife, Ruth of Olney and Richard Skelton and his wife, Linda of Olney; four sisters, Vivian Earp and Betty Taylor, both of Olney, Marci Jessup and her husband, Paul of Flora and Barbara Lewis and her husband, Ivan of Charleston, S.C. and several grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Vern, Robert, Warren and Jack and one infant sister, Mildred.
