Theresa Herman (Chaplin)

Theresa Herman "Teri" Chaplin, 72 of Olney died Monday October 17, 2005 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney. Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with Holy Rosary, Father Jerry Wirth officiating, burial in Holy Cross Cemetery in Wendelin.

Mrs. Chaplin was born January 28, 1933 in Richland County, the daughter of Otto George and Elizabeth Helen (Muhs) Herman. She married Glen Daniel Chaplin on November 27, 1952. He survives.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney and Dundas Ruritan Club.

Mrs. Chaplin is survived by her husband, of Olney; a daughter, Judi Seed and her husband, Mike of Arnold, Mo.; a son, Mike Chaplin and his wife, Sue of Coatesville, Pa.; a daughter, Sue Doubet and her husband, Steve of Springfield; a daughter, Kathy Borah and her husband, Chris of St. Clair, Mo.; a son, Rick Chaplin and his wife, Cathy of Olney; a daughter, Jan Stritzel and her husband, Andy of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; a son, Pat Chaplin and his wife, Bonnie of Olney; a daughter, Karen Breeding and her husband, Bryan of Dundas; a sister, Lucille Bigard of Mt. Pleasant, Mich.; a sister, Edna Brian of Olney; a brother, Paul Herman of Michigan; a sister, Ruth Rzeppa of Algonac, Mich.; a brother, George Herman of Olney; a sister, Dolores Francis of Goshen, Ind.; a brother, Frank Herman of Xenia; a sister, Freda Miller of Springfield; and 14 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bernard.
