Ann Marie (Bloomquist) Householder, 88, of Mapleton, Illinois, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022 at UnityPoint Health – Methodist Hospital in Peoria. She was formerly of Indianapolis, Indiana. Born December 19, 1933 in Olney to Carl and Nola (Smallwood) Bloomquist, she married Dan Householder. They later divorced.

Surviving are one son, Steve Householder of Mapleton; one granddaughter, Caitlin Householder of Mapleton; one grandson, Ryan Rogers of Mapleton; one great-grandson, Aizen Martir of Mapleton and one sister, Wanda Shulda of Minnesota.

She was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings.

Ann had worked as a bookkeeper for many years at various places in Indianapolis.

She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, working crossword puzzles, reading and watching the news and sports, especially the Indianapolis Colts and Pacers.

Ann was a longtime devoted member of the First Baptist Church in Indianapolis where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society.

Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. There will be no services.
