Carolyn M. Tucker, 81, of Olney, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014 at Burgin Manor in Olney.  Funeral service at St. Paul United Methodist Church.  Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Tucker was born March 23, 1932, in Richland County, the daughter of William M. and Estella Doney Hudson. She married Warren Rex Tucker on Oct. 18, 1952.

Mrs. Tucker worked at East Richland School District before retiring. She was a member of St. Paul Methodist Church in Olney, Claremont Community Club and Richland Memorial Auxiliary. She was a Board member of ERFAE for 6 years after retiring.

She is survived by her husband, Rex, and two sons, David Tucker and wife Barbara of Katy, TX, and Douglas Tucker of Bryan, TX, nine grandchildren, Jeremy Tucker and wife Kathleen of St. Peters, MO, Messina Tucker of Floyds Knobs, IN, Melissa O’Rear and husband Jason of San Francisco, Kyle Tucker of Overland Park, Kansas, Jana Tucker of San Antonio, TX, Andrew Tucker of Tulsa, OK, Falon, Trinity, and Garrett Tucker of Cleveland, TX, three great-grandchildren, Jayden and Katelyn Tucker and Jude O’Rear, three sisters, Norma Stoltz of Altoona, FL, Wilma Slichenmyer and Marian Eagleson of Olney, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Florence Stallard , Pat Gaede and Sarah Howington, one brother, Reuben Hudson and one grandchild, Angel.
