Shirley A. Hunt, 62 of Olney died Friday March 14, 1997 at her residence.  Funeral services at Benson-Grove Funeral Home in Olney with Rev. Paul Pendl officiating. The body will be cremated.

Hunt was born December 28, 1934 in Lawrence County, the daughter of Herbert Hills and Daisy Pond. She married Bob Hunt March 7, 1954 at the Church of Christ in Sumner.

She was a 12-year associate of the Olney Wal-Mart Store. She was a member of the Olney Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband and one foster brother, Mickey J. Madding of Peoria.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
