William F. Harmon, 64, of Olney, died Thursday, September 17, 1998, at Richland Memorial Hospital.  Funeral services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with Rev. Ted Kemp officiating. Burial at Crest Haven Cemetery near Claremont.

Mr. Harmon was born February 27, 1934, in Richland County, the son of Harvey "Dave" and Pearl (Nowak) Harmon. He married Barbara Dishong in 1957.

Mr. Harmon was self-employed as a carpenter and was a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Harmon, of Olney; three sons, Rick Harmon and his wife Patti, Tony Harmon and his wife Ellen, all from Olney, and Brad Harmon, of Terre Haute, Ind.; two brothers, Gene Harmon and wife JoAnn, and James Robert Harmon, all from Olney; two sisters, Betty Roth and her husband Harold, of Ida, Mich., and Pat Grove and husband Jerry, of Olney; five grandchildren, Amanda, Karah, Wesley, Brandon and Tarrah.

Mr. Harmon was preceded in death by his parents.
