Amanda J. (Gibson) Tipton, 84, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, was born on December 17, 1934 in Flora, Illinois and passed away on October 15, 2019 and is under the care of Gross Funeral Home.

She was the daughter of Clarence H. and Alice E. (McCord) Gibson. She first married James Edward Martin March 8,1953 in Olney, Illinois, and they had four children, they divorced in 1960 she later married Marvin “Jack” Tipton on January 1, 1963 in Brazoria, TX. He died in September 1989.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons.
