June E. Lancaster, 70, of Sumner, Illinois died Thursday May 1, 2003 at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital in Lawrenceville.  Funeral services at Sivert-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home with burial in Crest Haven Memorial Park near Claremont.

Mrs. Lancaster was born on March 20, 1933 in Berryville, the daughter of Bert and Flossie (Jennings) Lathrop. She married Ralph Lancaster Jr. on February 7, 1953. He survives.

She was retired from the shoe factory in Olney and was a member of Assembly of God in Flora.

Mrs. Lancaster is survived by her husband, Ralph Lancaster Jr. of Sumner; a son, Jerry Lancaster of Manchester, N.H.; three daughters, Deona Dugger of Sumner, Candy Royce of Noble and Darla Davis of Tampa, Fla.; a brother, Charles Lathrop of Berryville; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
